cf810630de add missing const
If you want to declare a pointer which the address pointed to is constant,
you should declare it as like `static const char *const var = "...";`.

This commit supplies missing `const` and prevents some programming
error in the future.

dc2d757399 libnethack pr385
roll parts of pr385 into source tree

This does not take the PR as is.

Unlike the PR, this streamlines and minimizes the integration somewhat:

- use hints/include mechanism instead of creating alternative
  Makefile.dat, Makefile.src, Makefile.top, Makefile.utl in sys/lib;
those would have been a maintenance nightmare.

- don't have alternative mkmkfile.sh and setup.sh in sys/lib.

- sys/lib/libnethackmain.c differed from sys/unix/unixmain.c by
very little, so just place a small bit of conditional code at the
  top of sys/unix/unixmain.c instead.

- changed the conditional code bits from __EMSCRIPTEN__ to
  CROSS_TO_WASM.

- You should be able to build the wasm result by:
    cd sys/unix ; sh setup.sh hints/linux.2020 ; cd ../..
    make fetch-lua (<-one time)
    make WANT_LIBNH all

- You should be able to build LIBNBH by:
    cd sys/unix ; sh setup.sh hints/linux.2020 ; cd ../..
    make fetch-lua (<-one time)
    make CROSS_TO_WASM=1 all

As it is currently coded, winshim.c requires C99.

c062822a7c Qt tombstone bugs
Infrastructure bits: Qt tombstone uses a short buffer; make sure that
the plname value fits instead of relying on snprintf() to truncate it.
A warning about gold, if any, was iffy but this should guarantee no
reason for future complaint. Year was safe but a compiler sensitive
to buffer overflows wouldn't know that.

Actual bugs:  Qt used money in inventory for gold amount on tombstone;
that overlooks gold in containers and will be 0 by tombstone stage if
bones get saved. Year was recalculated from current date+time instead
of using the value that gets passed in--blindly flagging that variable
as UNUSED was a mistake.

ed300e5fa8 dumplog fixes: genocide list, survivor's tombstone
The dumplog data was including a final tombstone unconditionally,
which looked awfully strange for characters who didn't die. Make
it conditional, like actual end-of-game tombstone. (One difference
though: dumplog has a tombstone for hero who died from genocide,
end-of-game does not. I think the latter should display one even
though no grave gets generated.) [Potential for future enhancement:
add some alternate ascii art in place of tombstone for survivors.]

The list of genocided and/or extincted species was never shown
since caller passed 'a' to list_genocided() and it expected 'y'.
Also, once shown, the list entries were lacking indentation that
other sections of the dump generally have.

Both vanquished monsters and genocided/extinct monsters included
a blank line separator even when there was no feedback, making a
noticeable gap in the dumplog text. Have them report "no creatures
vanquished" and "no species genocided", when applicable, so that
their separator lines always have something to separate.

When dumping, omit a couple of blank lines each from vanquished
creatures list, genocided species list, and tombstone so the
relevant sections of the dump are more compact.

4604777c16 suppression of while-helpless for tombstone
Avoid the possibility of a user-supplied name interfering with killer
reason truncation. A monster named ", while" that killed the hero
would result in "killed by <mon-type> called " being displayed on the
tombstone after stripping while-helpless reason to shorten the text.

20b2120f3f fix bz 103+#H4095 - high scores ", while helpless"
If a character dies with 'multi' at a non-zero value, the reason for
helplessness is appended to the cause of death. But that was taking
place in writeentry(), which is used for every score entry while
rewriting 'record' when a new high score is added. So whenever a new
score with helplessness was added, all existing entries got corrupted
by having the newest game's reason for helplessness tacked on.

Append the helplessness reason while formatting the cause of death
instead of when writing out score and logfile entries. xlogfile is
handled a little differently in case the cause of death plus reason
for helplessness is too long so truncated for record and logfile.
Full reason is still put into xlogfile.

2b2ee0fbab formatting fixup (1 of 2)
Replace instances of strings split across lines which rely on C89/C90
implicit concatenation of string literals to splice them together
with single strings that are outdented relative to the code that uses
them. It's uglier but it won't break compile for pre-ANSI compilers.

This covers many files in src/ that only have one or two such split
strings. There are several more files which have three or more. Those
will eventually be '(2 of 2)'.

Noticed along the way: the fake mail message/subject
  Report bugs to devteam@nethack.org.
wasn't using its format string of "Report bugs to %s.", so would have
just shown our email address. Doesn't anybody enable fake mail anymore?

I modified that format to enclose the address within angle brackets and
made a similar change for the 'contact' choice of the '?' command.

97d6fade74 Reformat all C files.
I'll push a formatting guide at some point. There may still be
outstanding changes, but please feel free to resolve those as you arrive
a them.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no changes to the actual code
content, but the formatter does have the occasional bug. If you run into
an issue, please fix it!

a871ad06e9 outrip() updating (trunk only)
Part II of the bones tracking patch. Change umpteen different outrip()
routines to handle its new time_t argument, and use formatkiller() instead
of directly accessing killer.{format, name} and killed_by_prefix[]. The
latter is now static within formatkiller().

The many sys/* and win/* changes are untested....

9721470635 bones tracking (trunk only)
[See cvs log for include/rm.h or doc/window.doc for more complete description.]

Attach hero info, death reason, and date+time to a level that's being saved
as bones. Read such data back when loading a bones file, then treat it as
part of that level for the rest of the game. Dying on a loaded bones file
will chain the new hero+death+date to previous one(s) if new bones get saved.

outrip() now takes an extra argument of type time_t, and interface-specific
implementations of this routine need to be updated to handle that.

559be58c21 conflicting delayed killers
Introduce a new set of functions to manage delayed killers in the trunk, used
in addressing the various reports of delayed killer confusion. Since existing
delayed killers are related to player properties, the delayed killers are
keyed by uprop indexes. I did this to avoid adding yet another set of
similar identifiers.
- the new delayed_killer() is used for stoning, sliming, sickness, and
delayed self-genocide while polymorphed. Some other timed events don't
use it (and didn't use the old delayed_killer variable) because they
use a fixed message when the timeout occurs.
- A new data structure, struct kinfo, is used to track both delayed and
immediate killers. This encapsulates all the info involved with
identifying a killer. The structure contains a buffer, which subsumes the
old killer_buf and several other buffers that didn't/couldn't use killer_buf.
- the killer list is saved and restored as part of the game state.
- the special case of usick_cause was removed and a delayed killer list
entry is now used in its place
- common code dealing with (un)sliming is moved to a new make_slimed function
- attempted to update all make dependencies for new end.c -> lev.h
dependency, sorry if I messed any up
