The default symbol for lit and unlit corridors are the same. This makes
the lit_corridor option a no-op where the defaults are used and also means
that using a light scroll/spell a corridor has no obvious effect. To
address that, I special-cased the lit corridor symbol and change its color
to bright white when its the same symbol as the unlit corridor symbol (I
didn't change the default color since I thought that made the lit corridor
look strange using the windows console interface).

Building with an old version of gcc with various warnings enabled
generated a lot of noise. Most of it was due to not guarding string
literals with `const', but there were a couple of actual problems too.
Several flags added since 3.4.0 were destined for flags
(to be saved with the game) but were placed in iflags for
savefile compatibility. These include:

This patch has no effect unless you define this in your port's

Without it, the new flags remain in "iflags." With it, the flags are moved to
"flags" and the structures are converted when the save file is read. There
is no reverse compatibility. If you save the game after conversion, you
can't load the savefile on 3.4.0, only 3.4.1.

NetHack won't compile without TEXTCOLOR defined.
